Job description

We are searching for a well organized and hard working veterinary receptionist to join our front office team

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries or concerns
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for clients and their pets
- Maintain accurate records of client information, medical history, and treatments
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint during examinations or procedures
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, walking, and administering medications as directed by veterinarians
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including dog training and restraint methods

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients and their pets
- Attention to detail to accurately record client information and medical history
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
