Material Handler - US - Apex, NC
The Blueprint (Role Profile)
Execute forklift operations and loading/unloading in a distribution warehouse environment
Responsibilities
The Build (Responsibilities)
- Use an RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials
- Use forklift or powered pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas
- Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers
- Perform basic mathematical calculations
- Follow safety regulations
- Perform other related duties, as required or directed
- All other duties as assigned
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to consistently move in a full-range of motion
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Previous experience driving a forklift and/or pallet jack
- Previous distribution or warehouse experience
