Overview
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing a broad range of HR support to the HRmanagement team and to ARH employees. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR related duties ona professional level under the direction of local and system HR leadership. This position carries out crossfunctional responsibilities in the following areas: employment law compliance, employee relations, training,performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, leave management,and labor relations.
Responsibilities
Generates onboarding plans and educates newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures andregulations.Ensures physical and digital files for employees are maintained inclusive of their documents, benefits, andattendance records.Creates employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval and executing activities.Collaborates with outside vendors, system leadership, and ARH employees.Ensures that policies are interpreted and implemented consistently.Ensures all elements of the onboarding process are completed within set timeframesConducts and documents annual internal audits of I-9s and other legal documents.Oversees and processes the on-boarding of new hires.Oversees and completes HRIS changes within identified timeframes.Completes payroll for the local community and processes payroll corrections as required in conjunction withSystem HR and Payroll teamsIdentifies areas of training for employees and drafts various training plans for approval by System HR.Ensure all annual reporting is completed such as OSHA within timeframes.Collects and trends data as requested or required.Cross trained in all ARH HR competencies and must be able to function as the back-up to the local HR Leadershipteam for all HR Services including grievances, discipline/discharge, payroll, employee relations, et. Al.Provides guidance and support to managers in relation to employee and labor relationsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
Qualifications
EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent RequiredBachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business, or Related Field Preferred
Work Experience (education can be substituted for experience)1-3 years Human Resources Experience with Bachelor's Degree Required4-6 years Human Resources or Related Experience without Degree Required
