Garden Maintenance
Reports To: Production Manager
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt
Type: Seasonal
Purpose: Garden Maintenance Team Members are responsible for maintaining gardens of residential and commercial sites as directed by a site supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
- Weeding and trimming and edging around walks, flower beds, and walls.
- Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides. (Requires applicators License)
- Apply fertilizer to the ground to enhance growth. (Requires applicators License)
- Clean site prior to leaving, hauling, and removal of tarps.
- Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
- Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.
- Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Strong work ethic - willing to learn new things on a daily basis.
- Able to operate sheers, backpack blower, and rake.
- Positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, weekends, and enjoy working outside.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift 50lbs.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Minnesota Driver's License, safe driving record; and proof of insurability.
- 6 months of grounds keeping / gardening experience a plus.
- Work at a fast pace and accurately.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
