The Swim Instructor/Teacher/Coach is a game-changer in the life of a child. They are responsible for implementing the proven Aqua-Tots curriculum in each lesson, offering children quality indoor swim instruction that will enable them to live a lifetime of safety in and around the water. The Details:
You get to work in a 90-degree 4-foot pool teaching & coaching swim lessons to 4 students at a time for 30 minutes. You really get to make a difference in your students' lives. You will be engaging with children ages 4 months to 12 years of age in the joy of learning & swimming. We provide ALL necessary training, including CPR and first aid certification. The Swim Instructor position requires a person to have the passion and patience to change the lives of the children they teach! Though swim experience is a plus, general teaching experience with any sport and the right personality with a positive attitude are ALL welcome to apply as we provide terrific training!

Must commit to 2 workdays & Saturdays at a minimum

Job Description:
AT-WSI Duties:
• Uphold our Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values
• Report to work 5 minutes prior to each shift
• Be in uniform (Staff shirt) when entering any AT facility or location
• Check pool chemicals and maintain a chemical log
• Set up teaching areas
• Clean and maintain pool areas before and after each shift
• Understand and uphold AT fecal contamination policies
• Teach in accordance with AT curriculum
• Be knowledgeable in regards to parent questions regarding progression and AT curriculum
• Fill out Aqua Cards on a consistent basis
Aqua-Tots Swim Schools provide year-round, indoor swim lessons to children ages four months and up in classes of no more than four students. Our expert instructors teach a proven, life-saving curriculum that reduces drownings and creates a life-long love of swimming.
