The Archdiocese of Hartford is now recruiting for an Executive Assistant to support the Director of Human Resources who is responsible for human resource strategy of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent & change management, organization and performance management, training and development, benefits & total rewards, and compliance. This is a great opportunity to establish working relationships with high-level executives and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization. This full-time role has an in-person work location at the Pastoral Center in Bloomfield and is eligible for paid time off and benefits.
This role will support, coordinate, and manage the Director’s schedule, prepare and organize important legal and strategic materials and plans, and coordinate various committees the department is involved with. This role serves as the eyes and ears for the HRD, connecting organizations, projects, and critical business information to the HRD, ensuring meetings and materials are efficient and effective and serves as a trusted partner to deliver against the various HR priorities of the business.
The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the HRD’s needs. The role must interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the Executive Committee, parishes, schools, and other entities of the Archdiocese. To perform this job successfully, the individual is expected to handle highly sensitive and confidential budget, legal, personnel, and institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion.
