Job Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Operations is responsible for developing and executing the company's strategic and operational systems, driving business growth, improving efficiency, and building organizational capabilities. This role requires coordinating cross-departmental resources, establishing a strategic execution framework, managing key projects and operational metrics, and ensuring the company's strategic objectives are implemented and continuously optimized at the global/regional level. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Implementation
Participate in the development of the company's long-term strategy and annual business plan.
Break down strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, projects, and KPIs.
Establish a strategic execution mechanism to ensure efficient implementation of the strategy within the organization.
Business Operations Management
Responsible for the construction and optimization of the business operations system (processes, organization, systems, and standards).
Coordinate cross-departmental operational resources to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Monitor key business indicators (KPIs/OKRs) and drive continuous improvement.
Operations and Project Management
Responsible for the advancement and implementation of the company's key strategic projects (new businesses, organizational changes, digital transformation, etc.).
Establish a project management and governance system (PMO/project portfolio management).
Control project scope, schedule, cost, and risks to ensure on-time delivery.
Data and Decision Support
Establish an operational data system and data analysis capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
Provide business insights, competitive analysis, and market trend assessments.
Promote data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization mechanisms.
Organization and Capability Building
Responsible for the construction, talent development, and performance management of the strategic operations team.
Promote organizational capability improvement (process management, change management, lean operations, etc.).
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Risk and Compliance Management
Identify and manage business operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Promote the construction and operational execution of the compliance system.
Participate in risk assessment of major contracts, collaborations, and supply chains.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
10 years of experience in strategy, operations, project management, or management consulting, with 5 years of management experience.
Ability to coordinate across departments, manage organizational change, and implement strategies.
Familiarity with strategic planning, operations management, data analysis, and project management methodologies.
Strong business acumen, logical analysis skills, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in strategic operations, business operations, PMO, or management consulting in large enterprises/multinational corporations.
Experience in digital transformation, organizational change, and Lean Six Sigma projects.
PMP, MBA, Six Sigma (Black Belt/Green Belt) certifications are a plus.
Industry experience (finance, internet, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.) is preferred.
