What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Psychologist position at Arisa Medical, LLC?
We are hiring a clinical psychologist to perform medical disability exams (also known as compensation and pension C&P exams) for Veterans remotely via telehealth for our Rockville, MD location. In person exams at our Rockville location would be helpful, though not required.
All exams must be performed by a state licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist with a PhD or a PsyD and have graduated from an APA accredited school. Maryland state license is a must.
Hours: Part time, telehealth (remote) exams.
Pay range: Pays $130-$140 per hour. You determine your patient spacing depending on your experience, efficiency, and comfort level. Malpractice is provided by Arisa.
Exams: These exams involve reviewing records and taking histories to determine the degree of disability. Historical evidence and chart review are a big part of these exams. There is no treatment or follow ups involved.
Common conditions evaluated include PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Prior C&P experience is a big plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
Low stress job with no calls. Providers will enjoy serving Veterans in their community.
