ARIZONA GENERAL HOSPITAL
Responsibilities
Provides excellent quality care as a Cardiology technician performing EKGs and Stress Tests as required for patients at Arizona General Hospital
- Greets customers politely and professionally and directs them appropriately.
- Gives patient general exam information, including approximate time of procedure.
- Keeps patients informed of delays.
- Proficient in performance of EKGS, testing of both inpatients and outpatients.
- Proficient performing Stress Tests on outpatients and inpatients on pharmacologic as well as regular stress tests.
- Communicates positively with good customer relations to all patients as well as fellow coworkers.
- Performs editing of EKGs within the department and assists with the maintenance of the MUSE system.
- Answers routine telephone calls in an appropriate manner.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of basic EKG class or successful completion of the basic Rhythm test
- Current American Heart Association BLS card
- Minimum of one year experience as a cardiology technician or experience as a monitor technician
Preferred:
- Previous skills in EKG and stress test performance
