Position Summary
The School of Media and Journalism at Arkansas State University invites applications for a 12-month instructor position beginning August 15, 2025. The instructor serves as faculty advisor for the student media outlet, the Delta Digital News Service (DDNS) and teaches classes that prepare students for careers in multimedia journalism and creative media.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be prepared to provide instruction to lower and upper division courses as well as graduate level courses that meet departmental standards for undergraduate and graduate instruction. The successful candidate also will have the ability to teach students to develop writing and multimedia production skills for print, web, audio, and video in news and media outlets.

- Conduct summer workshops for teachers and school students interested in multimedia journalism and creative media.
- Teach summer classes to support graduating students and university retention initiatives.
