Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 per year
Job Summary: Arkansas Support Network is seeking a Billing Director to join our billing and revenue team! As a Billing Director, you’ll oversee all operations, ensuring timely and accurate billing and reimbursement processes that comply with local, state, federal, and PASSE regulations.

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the daily operations of the billing department, ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims for services provided by ASN to various payers, including but not limited to PASSEs, the State of Arkansas, grant funders, and federal programs.
- Monitor the submission of claims to ensure proper coding and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Medicaid regulations, PASSE requirements, and home and community-based service guidelines for billing practices.
- Stay updated on any changes in Medicaid and PASSE policies or billing regulations to ensure compliance across the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and random checks in accordance with funding regulations.
- Supervise and support billing staff, including team leadership, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about billing procedures and regulatory changes.
- Prepare and lead comprehensive financial analyses of billing processes to identify discrepancies and enhance revenue optimization.
- Collaborate with finance departments to forecast budgets and analyze trends in billing and reimbursements.
- Serve as a liaison with PASSE organizations and other payers, ensuring that billing practices align with contracting requirements.
- Maintain relationships with government agencies, funders, and insurance providers to facilitate effective billing workflows.
- Regularly review and refine billing processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Work closely with operational teams to resolve issues related to billing and reimbursement.
- The Billing Director plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing billing and financial operations. The Director will work collaboratively with the leadership team and periodically report to the ASN Board of Directors.
- Additional duties may vary based on individual and agency needs.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in director-level management roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience performing healthcare billing
- Strong understanding of managed care systems and Medicaid policies
