What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Arkansas Talent Group?
Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with Healthcare Service Organization to find their next Accounting Manager/Controller due to growth! This is a newly created position that will oversee the accounting for multiple companies for the organization. The position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Finance and will manage a staff of 4-5 Accountants. Client is seeking an Accounting leader with a strong background in multi entity/consolidated financials, 2 years healthcare (clinic or hospital), 2 years people management, and advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive revenue and expense analyses, creating visual aids such as charts and graphs to illustrate key relationships.
- Benchmark performance across various sectors and against industry standards.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with operational teams and executives to develop budgets, forecasts, and other financial strategies.
Expenditure Management:
- Utilize digital document management systems for efficient invoice processing.
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy in expense allocation.
Revenue Oversight:
- Monitor client account balances to ensure proper application of fees and interest.
- Ensure compliance with fee schedules as outlined in client service agreements.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Excel, with the ability to organize and present complex datasets effectively.
- Familiarity with business intelligence software such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting purposes.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare strongly desired.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of industry-specific terminology and practices.
