Accounting Manager

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with Healthcare Service Organization to find their next Accounting Manager/Controller due to growth! This is a newly created position that will oversee the accounting for multiple companies for the organization. The position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Finance and will manage a staff of 4-5 Accountants. Client is seeking an Accounting leader with a strong background in multi entity/consolidated financials, 2 years healthcare (clinic or hospital), 2 years people management, and advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct comprehensive revenue and expense analyses, creating visual aids such as charts and graphs to illustrate key relationships.
• Benchmark performance across various sectors and against industry standards.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with operational teams and executives to develop budgets, forecasts, and other financial strategies.

Expenditure Management:

• Utilize digital document management systems for efficient invoice processing.
• Review and approve invoices for accuracy in expense allocation.

Revenue Oversight:

• Monitor client account balances to ensure proper application of fees and interest.
• Ensure compliance with fee schedules as outlined in client service agreements.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Excel, with the ability to organize and present complex datasets effectively.
• Familiarity with business intelligence software such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting purposes.
• 2 years of experience in healthcare strongly desired.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of industry-specific terminology and practices.
