Senior Internal Auditor

Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a Large Bank in Little Rock to find a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team! This is a newly created position due to growth and promotions in the company, Senior Internal Auditor will report directly to the Internal Audit Manager. The Senior Internal Auditor for Financial Operations is responsible for independently organizing, planning, and executing audits of the bank's activities to assess the sufficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Internal Audit Team Lead for Financial Operations to strategize financial and operational audit plans, including conducting risk assessments
• Execute financial and operational audits
• Communicate audit findings to relevant stakeholders, gather management feedback, and compile audit reports
• Conduct research for special investigations as requested by Internal Audit
• Develop audit work programs related to financial and operational audits
• Oversee a team of internal auditors and review audits conducted by team members
• Represent the internal audit function in enterprise projects and participate in internal audit initiatives
• Provide support for compliance audits as needed
• Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned
• Perform any additional related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Business- preferred Finance or Accounting
• 5 Years of Financial and Operational Audit Experience, preferably in Banking
• Certification: CPA, CIA, CFE, CAMS, or CFSA (at least one required)
