Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with an Arkansas-based bank to find their next SVP-Controller. This position is onsite but could be located at any of their Arkansas branches such as Little Rock, Batesville, Hot Springs, Fayetteville, or Rogers.

The Role:
The SVP-Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the production of timely and accurate regulatory reports. This position involves managing a comprehensive internal control framework and overseeing budgets to mitigate risks while enhancing financial report precision. With responsibilities including the maintenance of the Bank holding company's general ledger and implementation of consolidation procedures, the SVP-Controller will produce monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated financial statements adhering to banking regulations and GAAP.
Additionally, this role encompasses aiding in budget projections, conducting variance analyses, and managing the Bank's budgeting tools for up-to-date financial accuracy. The SVP-Controller will also prepare detailed branch financial statements, provide insights into significant variances, maintain fixed asset ledgers, and ensure accurate and timely tax filings. This position is essential for driving financial integrity and efficiency within the organization.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and CPA license; or ten or more years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in accounting, management, and supervisory skills.
- Advanced knowledge of general accounting, budgeting, and related accounting and record keeping systems in a financial institution
- Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, GAAP, and Bank accounting policies and procedures
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional technical, decision-making, and customer service skills

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
