Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Arlo Chicago. As a Full Time - hourly Hospitality / Restaurant job, this position offers a competitive salary of $24 per hour and the opportunity to work in the bustling city of Chicago, Illinois. As a management role, the Food & Beverage Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of our hotel's food and beverage department to ensure exceptional service and a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the food and beverage team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring a seamless and efficient dining experience for guests
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Implement and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety in all food and beverage areas
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve service, increase revenue, and reduce costs
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and safety practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
