What you’ll do:
The Financial Analyst will assist the Director of Finance and Sr. Financial Analyst with analysis and reporting on: Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and Gross Profit (GP). Under the direction of the Director of Finance the Financial Analyst will be key in helping to develop more robust financial modeling and KPI reporting. This position will also aid quotation in maintaining pricing books for products and services. More specifically this role will:
- Assist the Sr. Financial Analyst on internal reporting of monthly financial close results on Revenue, COGS, and GP
- Assist with the sales forecasts for Short Range Outlooks, Formalized Forecasts, and the Annual Operating Plan
- Assist the Senior Financial Analyst in helping to identify streamlining and process improvement areas
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting on portfolio Revenue, COGS, and profitability
- Perform various ad-hoc analysis and modeling on other financial maters
- Perform final pre-signatory project profitability reviews
- Maintain Pricing Books and Revenue models
- Other duties as assigned
The qualifications you must have:
- Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 1 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
- Familiarity with US GAAP Accounting
- Knowledgeable with Finance concepts
- Hands-on experience with Excel
- Strong critical thinking skills
Our preferred qualifications:
- CMA CPA, or CFA are preferred but not required
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel proficiency
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Experience with SAP and Sales Force
- Experience in Finance related to manufacturing, logistics, or production environments
- Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
