The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing the daily cash process, assisting with the monthly close process, and assisting with the internal and external audit processes.

$75,000-$85,000

The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing the daily cash process, assisting with the monthly close process, and assisting with the internal and external audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee completion of daily cash support
- Investigate and resolve daily cash differences and complete daily journal entries
- Perform monthly account analyses and reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of discrepancies
- Assist in the coordination of external and internal auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at quarter and year-end
- Manage year-end cash confirmation audit process including coordination with external auditors
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Real estate experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills
