Outpatient Medical Assistant ARRMC (Cancer Center)
Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.900000 = 36 hours per week = Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM
Candidate will be required to work in the Grants Pass clinic one or two days per week

Position Summary
The Medical Assistant for outpatient departments assist medical providers and work closely with patients in preparation for examination to provide medical care. In this role, the Medical Assistant performs routine tests and assists with maintenance and inventory of all medical supplies; completes paperwork assigned by provider; assists front office, scheduling and medical records team as needed; fields and conducts patient calls as requested; manages in-basket and prepares charts; and enters ancillary service orders and computerized provider order entries (CPOE).
Qualifications
Experience
- Prior direct patient care or related experience, or current enrollment in, or graduation from, a medical assistant program is required
Licensure/Certifications
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
