Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient hospital care to patients with various medical conditions.
- Work 24-hour shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Participate in emergency intubations, ventilation management, and central line placement.
- Maintain ACLS certification and adhere to strict standards of care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine/Hospitalist.
- Active and clean Texas medical license.
- Clean DEA and NPDB record (no current suits or unresolved cases).
- Minimum of one 4-7 day placement commitment, unless otherwise noted.
- Rigorous hospitalist experience, with logs showing emergent procedures within the last 12 months.
- Able to arrive early for 4-hour orientation.
- Commitment to serving small town, rural, and underserved populations.
