Responsibilities:
Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to execution, renewal, and closeout.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Identify potential contractual risks and propose strategies for risk mitigation.
- Work closely with legal and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Negotiation and Communication:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions that align with business objectives.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved in the contracting process.
Contract Administration:
- Ensure accurate and timely contract documentation and maintain a centralized repository for contracts.
- Monitor contract performance, compliance, and milestones to safeguard the company’s interests.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring that contractual obligations are met.
- Collaborate with procurement and other departments to optimize vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor or Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in Contract Management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role, preferably in finance.
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
