We are seeking a enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join our team and provide courteous, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service at events. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests, we want to hear from you!
Position Information: Part-time, 16 dollar hourly rate.
Essential Functions:
- Review Banquet Event Orders to understand daily function schedules
- Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service
- Complete all sidework and related cleaning duties
- Prepare banquet rooms for assigned functions
- Set up, deliver, and refresh coffee stations
- Serve meals with attention to detail and guest preferences
- Perform both opening and closing procedures
- Maintain appropriate levels of food and beverage items
- Set up and break down buffets and other special food service tables/equipment
- Ensure all doors and equipment are securely locked, everything is turned off, and keys are returned at the end of shift
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic bar terminology and wine service
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order
Additional Responsibilities:
- Keep work area neat and organized
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions
- Maintain good working relationships with all departments
- Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Possession of government-required licenses or certificates (e.g., food handler's permit, alcohol service certification)
- Knowledge and understanding of quality food service techniques and standards
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work any day of the week and any hour
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to receive and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Capability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Physical ability to carry and balance plates, trays, etc.
