Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our Ashley Furniture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during each delivery. Responsibilities
- Drive delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
- Navigate assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand-trucks as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (doesn't need to be spotless, but needs to be reasonable)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries.
- Experience in loading and unloading goods in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 150 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with delivery duties.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
