Job Mission

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

  • Conducts weekly meetings with respective business unitsand/or individual.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidancewhen appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR expertisegroup to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirementsrelated to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks andensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department asneeded/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance toline management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development,disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improvework relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretations.
  • Involve with offer terms for new hires, promotions andtransfers.
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignmentsand related HR matters.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unitrestructures, workforce planning, potential identification and successionplanning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units andindividual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training andemployee engagement survey programs to ensure success. Follows up toensure objectives are met.
  • Ensures HR year calendar items are properly executedthroughout business units and ontime.
  • Drives business to apply diversity and inclusion aspart of the culture and value program
  • Facilitates training and team building events
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree minimum within Human Resources or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience resolving complexemployee relations issues.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resourcedisciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis,employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal andstate respective employment laws.
  • Proficient experience working with HR professionals andbusiness leaders in a global environment
