HR Business Partner – Fremont, CA
LHH is teaming up with a well established organization in Fremont, CA in search of an experienced HR Business Partner to support a high-impact HR team during multiple leave coverages.
This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced HR environment where your expertise will directly influence team success. The organization is navigating a period of transition and needs a reliable, communicative, and proactive HR professional to step in and provide strategic and operational support. You’ll be working with a team that values engagement, ideas, and hands-on partnership.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional with strong business partner experience, particularly in compliance, employee relations, and benefits. You should be comfortable coaching junior team members, partnering with leadership, and contributing to a culture of reliability and excellence. Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paychex preferred) and a working knowledge of recruiting and onboarding processes are also beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HRBP-level support during leave coverage periods
- Address compliance and employee relations issues
- Assist with benefits administration and coordination
- Support recruiting and onboarding processes
- Partner with leadership and junior HR associates to ensure continuity
- Contribute to HR-hosted events, including annual holiday party
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR business partnering
- Strong knowledge of compliance and employee relations
- Benefits experience (Level 3 out of 5 preferred)
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paychex preferred)
- Ability to coach and collaborate with junior team members
- Excellent communication and reliability
- Recruiting knowledge (execution not required)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: approx late August 2025 - Spring 2026.
Location: Mostly remote, with occasional on-site presence in Fremont, CA (especially for annual holiday party)
Hours: Full-time, with potential part-time transition between coverage periods
Pay Rate: $48–$60/hour, depending on experience
