Position: Paralegal
Location: Hybrid – 3 days in-office per week
Systems Used: SAP
Parking: Not employer-covered; nearby paid lots available
Compensation: $40-$50/hour (w2)
Contract Duration: estimated 1 year
Reason for Opening: Interim coverage
Work Hours: 40 hours per week; exempt role (no overtime)
Other Requirements: Background check and drug screening required
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
- Experience in both corporate and litigation paralegal work
- Litigation support, including coordination with external counsel, document review, and case management
- Discovery process management: collecting, organizing, and producing documents for subpoenas and discovery requests
- Familiarity with business licensing, corporate structuring, foreign qualifications, and related filings
- Due diligence and regulatory filing management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent writing and proofreading abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new legal subject areas
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a small team
- Skilled at maintaining effective cross-functional and external legal relationships
