We are seeking a Linen Specialist in Wisconsin Rapids, WI at Aspirus Riverview Hospital. The Linen Specialist I picks up and sorts all soiled linen. Also loads, unloads and operates linen drying equipment, irons and folds linens received from washer attendant, and distributes clean linen.
Experience/Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Operation of washers, dryers, folder, etc. equipment.
- Computer operations skills including keyboard and mouse use, Internet browser use, opening and closing programs, processing e-mails including the ability to read, send, delete, and file.
- Ability to read, process and implement the EVS laundry vitals board information.
- Works in lighted and heated facility where temperatures may exceed 90oat times.
- Requires frequent carrying/lifting of 50 lbs. or greater, with pushing of 75-200 lbs. frequently.
Hours: Full Time or 0.8 FTE, 64 hours every 2 weeks. Day shifts only, some weekends may be needed.
