What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Assisted Living Facility?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries
-Schedule medical appointments and transportation as needed
- Assist with project coordination, including organizing and maintaining files and documents
-Maintain a safe environment by directing staff to call bells and any residents who need assistance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience as a receptionist
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other office software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
