The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant performs all facets of reception duties including and maintaining client confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer multi-line telephone; distribution of calls to the appropriate personnel or department. Maintains client confidentiality to outside callers. Takes written messages for clients and associates as necessary.
- Greets and directs all authorized visitors and vendors. Responsible for signage of confidentiality agreements of all authorized visitors and vendors and completion of VisitorsSign-In/Sign-Out log.
- Give tours to prospective residents/family members.
- Accepts and records payments received in the mail and at the window.
- Opens and distributes mail to proper persons.
- Keep track of and order supplies.
- Makes accurate disbursement of residents’ trust fund.
- Performs clerical duties for department heads as necessary.
- Provides team spirit by cross training to help others within the office.
Required skills and qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some undergraduate work or Jr. College in Administrative field preferred
- 1-2 years administrative/reception work, 3-5 years of experience preferred
