What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemist position at Astrix?

Our client - a global pharmaceutical powerhouse - is seeking a chemist to join their growing team!

Location: Rahway, NJ

Type: Contract

Rate: $27.39/hr

Duties:

  • Perform analytical testing to support drug product development
  • Development and validation of analytical test methods
  • Analytical testing for process development support
  • Data processing
  • Summarizing/presenting results

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in chemistry or related scientific fields with 2-5 years of experience
  • Experience with analytical techniques such HPLC, UPLC, UV, IR, Karl Fischer, and dissolution and ability in trouble shooting these methodologies
  • Experience with Empower software preferred
  • Experience with GMP/GLP preferred
