Currently I have an opening for Chemist located in Clark, NJ. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay rate: $40.45/hr.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Assist Design of Experiments to analyze the stability, aspect, viscosity, and in-vitro experiments
- Develop simplex and full formulas for Facial products
- Prepare and deliver testing samples on time to support internal/external collaboration.
- Maintain precise experimental records.
- Maintain stability records.
- Great deal of record keeping with use of Microsoft office.
- Assistance in lab logistics
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in related physical sciences
- Technical research experience in a laboratory setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Clear communication skills
- Familiarity with formulations (surfactant and thickener systems) is a plus, as is familiarity with proper maintenance and upkeep for any laboratory equipment.
- Must be organized and have worked in a lab environment.
- Working with batching/weighing/lab notebooks.
- Autonomous working and have good background in math/science
- Experience with pH, Microscopy, Viscometer/Rheometer, Foam analyzer. As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.
- Familiarity with batching equipment a plus - Olsa, disconti, silverson As a point of differentiation is a plus but not necessary.
