Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and optimize complex genomics protocols including custom DNA/RNA amplicon preparation and sequencing.
- Perform massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA) screens in diverse cell systems.
- Conduct primary cell culture work, including specialized cell types as needed.
- Execute molecular biology techniques including molecular cloning, flow cytometry, and quantitative PCR.
- Work with viral vector technologies and next-generation sequencing library design/generation.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, communicating results effectively to the team.
- Contribute to team-based science and technology development initiatives.
- Maintain detailed experimental records and documentation.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant laboratory research experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing cell and molecular biology experiments.
- Experience with primary cell culture (required).
- Proficiency in standard molecular biology techniques.
- Passion for scientific discovery and commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience with massively parallel reporter assays (MPRA).
- iPSC and/or T cell culture experience.
- Expertise in viral vector technology (lentivirus).
- Background in NGS library design and generation.
- Experience with scRNA-seq and/or scMPRA technologies.
