This lab-based role involves executing advanced molecular biology and high-content screening experiments and contributing to dataset generation for machine learning applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex molecular and cellular biology experiments in functional genomics
- Support massively parallel reporter assay (MPRA) screens across multiple cell types
- Conduct custom DNA/RNA amplicon preparation and sequencing workflows
- Execute molecular biology techniques including molecular cloning, qPCR, and flow cytometry
- Maintain and work with primary cell cultures, with preference for iPSC and/or T cell culture experience
- Assist in experimental design, data interpretation, and results communication
- Contribute to development and optimization of genomics screening technologies
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience
- Strong experimental design and data analysis skills
- Highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- MPRA or other pooled genetic screening approaches
- Viral vector systems (e.g., lentivirus)
- NGS library preparation and design
- Single-cell genomics methods such as scRNA-seq or scMPRA
- Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art functional genomics technologies
- Exposure to high-throughput screening and machine learning–driven research
- Opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and scientific learning
- Must be authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
