Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - General
Location: Franconia, NH
Pay: $28.47 - $31.00 hourly
Shift: 08:00:00 - 16:30:00
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join the General team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Provide physical therapy assistant services in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Deliver therapeutic treatments and interventions to residents under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising physical therapist
- Maintain professional standards and adhere to facility policies and procedures
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for physical therapy services
- Provide compassionate care to elderly residents in a long-term care environment
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant General experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
