Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Ultrasound / Sonographer Tech (ULT) to join the ECHO team of a respected healthcare organization. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking to work in a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities/Job Requirements:
- Perform direct patient cardiac diagnostic testing procedures with appropriate level of skill in a timely and dependable manner
- Provide age specific care to patients of all ages
- Serve as a professional resource to physicians, nursing staff and all other hospital staff
- Accurately perform all echocardiogram studies ordered by physicians, including Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress and pharmacological echocardiography
- Accurately perform other cardiac diagnostic studies including EKG, Holter prep, monitoring and analysis and Cardiac stress tests
- Correctly utilize mechanical devices including echocardiographs, cardiac stress systems, electrocardiographs, Holter monitors and computer analysis
- Accurately assess hospital information systems for scheduling, processing and correct charging of all studies
- Implement appropriate infection control practices and demonstrate working knowledge of aseptic techniques and equipment disinfection
- Interact with students from contracted colleges and universities, providing preceptorship and clinical guidance
- Demonstrate ability to perform cardiac diagnostic tests following age specific guidelines and procedures, specifically with neonatal and pediatric patients
- Maintain Basic Life Support certification
- Maintain Registered Cardiac Sonographer credential
Qualifications:
- Active Ultrasound / Sonographer Tech (ULT) license in good standing (state-specific)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant ECHO experience preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
