Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst reports into the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team and will be a key member of the ATCC Finance and Accounting Organization. The incumbent is responsible for providing high quality financial analysis of both operating expenses and business unit results. Particular focus on supporting budgeting, forecasting and internal management reporting. The incumbent supports and complies with all ATCC company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Operates as the contact in FP&A with respect to financial management of the ATCC; incumbent supports Director of FP&A, ATCC leadership, and other team members on the FP&A team in their efforts to drive an understanding and optimization of the cost of doing business.
Provides proactive financial analytical support to internal customers.
Plans, develops, analyzes, and participates in the preparation and maintenance of budgets and management reporting for ATCC’s Functional and Business Units.
Develops, implements, and maintains a robust financial forecasting process for ATCC.
Provides insightful and proactive analysis on monthly operating costs explaining significant variances and trends.
Plays a key role in the development of long range financial plans for ATCC.
Helps determine key performance metrics to monitor return on investment for both capital projects and strategic company initiates.
Participates in the continuous reengineering of budget and a management reporting processes to reduce complexities, streamline, and simplify.
Works closely with IT / data warehouse team to implement user friendly tools that provide timely, accurate, and standard reports which will represent a single version of the truth.
Supports internal and external audit requests.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-sensitive environment.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience within a finance, accounting or business role is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the life sciences sector.
- Advanced Degree in Finance or Accounting, M.B.A., and / or CPA.
