What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Concierge position at Atlanta Athletic Club?
The Atlanta Athletic Club is a premier private member owned Country Club located in Johns Creek, Georgia. Founded in 1898, the Club has a rich tradition for athletics and championship golf. We are currently looking for a full-time and a part-time front desk concierge to work at the club. The full-time hours are a during the day and the part-time hours are typically from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. during the week and potential days and evenings on the weekends.
Summary:
The Front Desk Concierge will provide members and guests with a “warm welcome” and promote a professional profile. He/She will be the team lead for all Front Desk Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as directed to fulfil the vision and mission of the Club.
- Assists with implementation and training of the concierge service program
- Provide employees with the tools they need to deliver the AAC experience
- Confirm details of function with BEO for all events in order to properly execute signs
- Recruit and select the employees needed to provide the AAC experience
- Provide employees with the tools they need to deliver the AAC experience
- Work as directed to support the mission and values of Atlanta Athletic Club.
- Greet each individual who walks through the door, direct them to the right location if appropriate, answer any questions in person or on the phone
- Direct club wide phone calls with ease and pleasure
- Familiarize oneself and review all upcoming club happenings and hours of operation based on the Club Times and the communication log
- Maintain and update the Club Event and dining room reservation systems to accurately record and confirm all pertinent details associated with the reservation
- Confirm reservation counts and details through callbacks
- Maintain the lost and found
- Create, publish and update the daily events on the Club’s reader board
- Keep up with the Concierge BEO book, adding pop-ups when necessary
- Create an exceptional “warm welcome” for members and guests arriving at the Club
- Execute appropriate phone etiquette and verbiage when speaking with members
- Promote the service motto and core values for the club
- Assist with fellow employee needs and club wide communication
- Maintain and update member car decal log, and member dining comment cards
- When scheduled for special events, your duties are cashier, coat check, and check in for events.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with members, employees and vendors.
Education:
- Prior reception and front desk experience in a service organization preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
