AMI is seeking Per Diem X-ray Technologists to join the team in the Mullica Hill region of offices! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice.
The Per Diem Radiologic Technologist is responsible for but not limited to:
- Performing radiographic examinations as directed including general radiographic, fluoroscopic and tomographic procedures;
- Providing for the safety, health and well being of all patients, visitors and co-workers;
- Responding to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice and performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occurs daily;
- Performing tasks on all assigned shifts to ensure that required patient and office record keeping is accurate, complete and processed as established by policy and procedure;
- Ensuring that working area equipment, both patient and non-patient related, is hazard-free and that materials and supplies are stocked and available;
- On a schedule determined by the chief technologist/office administrator, removes dirty gowns and linens from patient areas and washes/dries them on premises as per AMI policy. Must utilize cleaning substances as provided by AMI and as instructed to ensure sanitary outcome; and
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
This per diem position will provide coverage in the AMI offices in Mullica Hill, Woolwich Township, and Glassboro. Available shifts include days, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for this position must be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology and are registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), with a current NJ X-Ray License. Candidates must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection. CPR Certification (with hands-on instruction) required prior to the start of employment. Must be able to adapt to changing technologies as they occur. Must have flexibility to work both day and evening shifts and travel to different offices in the region. Previous experience preferred.
