Program Manager

Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated, team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. The salary range is $125,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.

You Will:

• Manage/Oversee a portfolio of related DoD projects, each led by individual project managers.
• Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs and technical constraints to maximize business benefit.
• Define, measure, and continually improve portfolio performance through operational and quality KPIs
• Work closely with stakeholders and project teams to deliver our portfolio customers the most efficient use of resources and technologies to meet required deliverables.
• Work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, and/or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services.
• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and demonstrate a mature project management approach in managing technology projects.
• Accountable for instilling and implementing Atlas' core values, vision and goals to maximize the contribution to the company's key product and service offerings
• Mentor and foster professional growth and development of team members.
• Participate in business development efforts to include, but not limited to:
  • Identifying new opportunities with existing and new potential future customers
  • Performing capture including, but not limited to: gathering intel, understanding the competitions, strategizing on the company’s strengths and weaknesses, etc.
  • Providing input to the proposals

You Have:

• US Citizenship
• Posession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance
• Strong oral and writing skills to clearly communicate thought processes across design, development, and fielding
• The ability to manage complex, multi-track projects and programs to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost, and quality while maintaining a positive environment that promotes high performance standards
• Servant-leadership mentality
• Superior attention to detail
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional ability to listen, understand and quantify DoD customer requirements
• Experience taking a project through to completion from requirements to deployment and experience working with customers
• Experience in using Microsoft 365 suite of products (Teams, Planner, OneNote, etc)
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentations
• Experience with process improvement and process mapping

Education Requriements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, preferred. Other and non-degree are acceptable with commensurate experience
• Minimum ten (10) years of project management experience within DOD/DHS contracting environment, managing risk, cost, schedule, and performance
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience leading and growing a highly technical workforce
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
