About the Team
We are building new team tasked with re-imagining compliance and how compliance applies to our customer’s products. This is a zero-to-one effort: our customers have been asking for tools to manage covered assets and govern their use within the organization.
This team will be work closely with our Risk Intelligence team, connecting their work to a single pane of glass that helps customers understand their risk exposure in a world with ever-changing industry trends – feeding directly into real-time insights customers can use to make decisions to mitigate that risk. Our vision is to be the first product in this space which not only tells customers how their digital properties and practices conform to established compliance standards, but to also help our customers understand the risk of non-conformance using real-time industry and contextual information.
Responsibilities
- Be a hands-on contributor. We expect all engineers at every level to contribute to product direction, write code, and realize impact for the customer.
- Lead engineers in one or more talented engineering teams for needs assessment, system design, implementation and operations automation.
- Collaborate closely with Data Science and Machine Learning peers to execute on this vision
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, strategists, and leaders across the company to design and deliver systems that enable customers to respond quickly to risks
- Partner closely with engineers to support their specific needs while maintaining a very high level of system reliability, security, and consistency of data and experiences
- Drive and lead the technical roadmap to help the team deliver the best quality systems to interface effectively with the rest of engineering
- Actively mentor and coach other engineers for their requirements engineering, system design, and technical problem solving
Minimum Requirements
- You have demonstrated success working in cross-functional environments, advocate for tight collaboration between engineering, user experience, and product teams, and are comfortable making engineering and system-level decisions and tradeoffs
- Demonstrated track record of solving deep technical problems in distributed systems and real time data technologies
- You’ve designed, implemented, and operated systems that are highly compliant, secure and scalable that form the backbone for the highest impacting user experiences
- Experience mentoring both junior and senior engineers
- Strong expertise in leading large projects across multiple teams
- You thrive while working closely with engineers at all levels
- You thrive on a high level of autonomy, ownership, and responsibility
- You contribute to developing a healthy engineering and product work environment that’s both supportive and challenging
- You are an engineering leader who models good engineer behavior, practices, and processes
- You have 10 years of engineering experience with design, implementation, and operations of critical systems
Salary: $ 160,000 - $220,000
