- Conduct initial screenings and technical interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for construction environments.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Partner with construction project managers and site supervisors to understand the specific requirements of each role, including technical skills, certifications, and experience with construction projects.
- Provide guidance on best practices for interviewing and candidate selection within the construction industry.
- Regularly update hiring managers on the progress of open positions and provide insights on the candidate market.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide candidates with detailed information about the company, its construction projects, safety protocols, and the specific role they are applying for.
- Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation, and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Industry-Specific Recruitment:
- Source candidates who have specific experience in construction settings, including knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Leverage industry-specific networks, job boards, and trade associations to identify potential candidates.

- Market Research and Insights:

- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to hiring managers and HR leadership to help inform recruitment strategies.

- Employer Branding:

- Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and networking functions to attract top construction talent.

- Data and Reporting:

- Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist in preparing compliance reports, such as EEO-1 and other regulatory filings, as required.
