Summary
- We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Slot Attendant to join our team at Augustine Casino. As a Slot Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable gaming experience by assisting with their slot machine needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests with slot machine payouts, jackpots, and machine malfunctions.
- Monitor the slot floor for any potential issues and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure slot machines are in good working condition.
- Educate guests on how to play slot machines and answer any questions they may have.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Slot Attendants maintain a bank, accurately and effectively breaking/changing bills, redeem slot tickets, perform basic math such as addition, subtraction and multiplication to determine sum of bill/ vouchers and to explain pervious plays/pays.
- Adhere to all casino policies and procedures.

- Must have strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- Must be able to navigate the jackpot database
- Must be able to learn and use any program and/or technology required by the position

Requirements:Qualifications/Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of previous experience in a customer service role.
- Six months of previous experience in a cash handling role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from Augustine Gaming Commission.
- Must complete Title 31 training within 90 days of employment.
If none of the applicants should meet the stated qualifications, applicants whose education and experience are less than the stated requirements, may be interviewed and hired provided the applicant hired submits a formal written training plan within (30) thirty days which can be completed within a reasonable time agreed upon by the supervisor and the applicant. Applicants who are hired and fail to meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled.
