Operates one or more coil machines.
Essential Role And Responsibilities
- Run machines and measure parts in conformance to customer quality specs.
- Maintain first piece check sheets and SPC charts.
- Must be able to use comparator, computer, load tester, calculator, micrometers and dial calipers efficiently.
- Stress relieving parts.
- Load and straighten wire.
- Maintain work area.
- Properly fill out paperwork.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Complete SPC training
- Ability to learn from others and retain information related to the job, such as how to read and understand blueprints.
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms frequently.
- Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.
- Medical - 1st of the month following hire date
