What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical Compounder position at Avenger Products LLC?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist batching team with formula blending.
- Blend liquid and powder products.
- Use scales, pumps, hoses.
- Drive forklift.
- Retrieve and weigh raw materials as prescribed in the batch sheet.
- Follow blending instructions as prescribed in the batch.
- Record lot #s of raw materials, as appropriate on the batch sheet.
- Initial and date as appropriate on the batch sheets.
- Inspect tanks, hoses, pumps for leaks and/or ware & tare.
- Package product in various size packages.
- Label packaged products as requested by supervisor.
- Retrieve samples as requested by QC department.
- Ensure tanks, mixers, pumps, hoses are clean prior to batching.
- Blend batches without cross contamination.
- Notify lab when batch is complete and ready for testing.
- Maintain a clean working environment at all times.
- Assist others as instructed by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
