What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at Avenir Restaurant Group?
Food runners are an important part of our staff and serve as assistants to the waitstaff. Their main duties are to deliver, or "run" food to tables once a food order has been prepared by the cooks. The food runner may also assist in many other duties when other members of the staff are busy.
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Restaurant Experience is proffered, however not required
- Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- The ability to multi-task and work well in a high volume environment
