Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of a Driver/Bellman include:
- Greeting and conversing with guests in a professional manner
- Responsible for driving vehicle from hotel to appropriate destination according to assigned schedule
- Carries guest luggage to and from vehicle.
- Obeys California State and city traffic laws
- Keeps company vehicle in a clean and respectable condition
- Listening and responding to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special event
- Delivers amenities and other items to guest rooms.
- Assists guests with any other reasonable request
Job Requirements
The ideal Driver/Bellman candidate will have some previous Bell experience, exceptional communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who can deliver total guest satisfaction.
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid Class C driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be a US citizen or have a valid US work Permit/Visa
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
