Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement in the United States of America.Job Highlights
- Perform pre-operative patient assessments.
- Determine plans of care and communicate them to patients and families.
- Establish and maintain essential venous access.
- Ensure establishment and maintenance of airways.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures.
- Transfer care to appropriate staff at procedure termination.
- Perform post-operative follow-up for each case.
- Provide clinical instruction to anesthesia students.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license from the Board of Nursing.
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Board of Nursing.
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
