Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Logistics Management Specialist to support the Utility Helicopter Project Management Office. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

- Conduct management and oversight of the Supply and Distribution program to include coordination and interface with National Guard Bureau and US Army TDA sites and/or other users internal and external to the command within the Utility Helicopter Product Office.
- Assure critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements.
- Provide Integrated support in Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) Development and review.
- Provides performance-based logistics planning for new and/or modified Utility Helicopter systems.
- Provide input, analysis, and recommendations for Life Cycle Support Plans, Material Fielding Plans, and Logistics Management.
- Provide input and advice for disposition and or acquisition of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Coordinate with Utility Helicopter Fleet Management on developing and prioritizing fielding plans.
- Converse professionally and directly with the OEM CCAD.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of Proposals, including validating pricing, conducting Technical Evaluations, participating in Fact Finding Rails, and participating in Telecoms.
- Work closely with the Business Development Division by analyzing documentation and providing input for fact-finding efforts.
- Provide input and assistance in Technical Evaluation Development and Publication.
- Provide input, advice, and analysis while attending Government Article Testing (GAT) events.
- Attends meetings and provides input to improve functionality and outcome of efforts.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience or High School Diploma with 12 years of experience.
- Aviation aircraft/major weapon system maintenance, recognition, and readiness.
- Acquisition or Sustainment Logistics.
- Review/analyze technical data received from vendors/OEM.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience developing Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP).
- Aviation field background.
- Quality Control or Production Control background is a plus.
- Ability to interface with subcontractors and proficiently / professionally relay LHPdO intent.
