Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining industrial machines.
- Producing precision tools.
- Interpreting technical drawings and instructions
- Ensuring that all operations adhere to safety protocols.
- Checking that all equipment produced works correctly.
- Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan.
- Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly.
- Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise.
- Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects.
Qualification / Requirements:
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Proven experience as machinist.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
- Good at math with analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
