Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, organized individual for a document control position in our
company. You will be responsible for assisting in the organization, proper naming, and
transmittal of engineering documents. The document control team uses relevant
software programs to meet customer and Client requirements for official
documentation. This will require the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to each
customer’s specific documentation requirements.
The document control specialist will report to the document control supervisor and
assist with handling incoming requests for document transmittal and customer
communication. You will work closely with the project team, so strong communications
skills are a must.
Required
- Candid and timely communication
- Intermediate proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
- Some experience in SharePoint development, creating job aids, and Power Bi
- High attention to detail and accuracy

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Transmit project documents and official communications to and from customers
Keep records of official communications to and from customers
Organize and maintain project documents electronically
Track completion and status of documents
Communicate with Client project team members and customers
Implement document naming system
Review documents and computer data closely for errors in titles, revision
numbers, dates, and formatting
Upload and edit documents using relevant computer programs
