The Loan Operations Supervisor Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provides leadership for the Loan Operations team within the following capacities:
- Coordinate ongoing staffing to ensure appropriate coverage for all daily department processes.
- Engage and motivate team members to achieve and maintain a high level of performance and service standards.
- Oversee annual performance review process for all department employees, including the development of goals and objectives.
- Align internal procedures with standard banking procedures to adhere to bank regulations and guidelines.
- Develop enhancements to current processes and scope of team activities based on internal customer feedback.
- Host monthly staff/department meetings with Loan Ops team and conduct 1-1’s with direct reports.
- Identify and interview potential candidates for vacant positions.
- Determine training needs of staff and coordinate efforts.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic through leadership by example.
- Serves as a backup for other team members during absence planned or unplanned.
- Create and update bank and department policies and procedures as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement improvement initiatives.
- Assist Bank Ops Manager in strategic planning and support of all new loan product initiatives.
- Assist with internal and external audit engagements as they relate to the department.
- Plan and coordinate the completion of ongoing daily activities which include, but are not limited to:
- Booking and funding for Commercial, Indirect Portfolio and ABL credit transactions, payoff processing, working daily operational reports and providing loan servicing support.
- Balancing loan general ledger clearing accounts and reviews/provides daily/monthly reporting.
- Daily Maintenance Reports – reviews and obtains necessary backup documentation.
- Third Party Vendor - Verify Balances.
- Monitor UCC’s – File continuations as needed.
- Submit invoices – Third Party Vendors.
- Post Rate Changes on CSI system.
- Loan Operations Specialists.
- Must be able to work independently. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday and work will mainly be performed at the Maitland location; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Flexibility with work location and hours may be granted if circumstances permit.

Education
- Associate’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in Loan Operations and Loan Servicing. Familiarity with CSI core system (NuPoint) preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills
- Track record of effective collaboration and teamwork
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to adapt with changing guidance
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Proven intermediate math and basic accounting skills.
